WE SHOULD GIVE FREELY WHAT WE GET FREELY!
Us Christians serve a merciful God, He is a splendor example of how we should live out our lives treating others. I am very aware that sometimes it just sounds better to "do them how they did me", but that's not the way of God and certainly is not the way of Jesus. Jesus died KNOWING that we did not deserve Him... it's so mind-blowing to think about. If we didn't sin, we certainly would never need God, but we do sin, knowingly and unknowningly and that is why we should never take his mercy for us for granted and all the more reason we should show mercy to others.
